Week 5 (07/11_07/15)

Hi everyone!

During this past week all of us from the Spartan Superway had the opportunity to go to San Francisco for the InterSolar North America 2016 Conference. It was awesome to be able to talk about what we have been doing for the summer and mainly to learn a lot about solar energy from many different companies and people.
At the exhibition I focused more on the following two sections: PV Manufacturing Equipment, Materials and Components and Balance of Systems. There I could talk to some companies that might help our project in many different aspects.
Here are some contacts:

Jane Dong (Oversea Sales Director)
Company: Talesun

Dr. Jing Wang
Company: NEP Northern Electric Inc

After the InterSolar Conference, I continued to work with the Solar team schedule of activities and documents organization. I also finalized the Final Report template for the teams and helped the 5S guys to find some tools safety procedures to avoid accidents while the students use the machines.

Week 4 (07/04_07/08)

Hello there!

After going to Los Angeles for the 4th of July weekend and having a really good and adventurous time at the Six Flags Magic Mountain theme park, I spent the rest of the week working on the google docs organization and helping the rest of the ISE to prepare our presentation for the Intersolar conference. I also continued to help the Solar Team to keep following their schedule and to communicate better with the other groups.

Week 3 (06/27_07/01)

Hi everyone!

During this past week at the Spartan Superway project I started to help the Solar Team with their schedule, planning what they are going to do for the next three weeks. I also started to work on new Final Report and PowerPoint presentation templates for the teams to use in the future.
On Wednesday, me and the rest of the ISE team had a meeting with two ISE professors that helped guiding us to keep improving our activities in order to support even more the rest of the teams.
On Thursday, some High School students came to the facility to know more about the project and I had the opportunity to talk to them with Gabriel about what the ISE team has been doing here for the past weeks and it was really nice.
